ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Select TERMINAL CONFIGURATION from the MANAGEMENT
FUNCTIONS menu.
2. Select SET TERMINAL PARAMETERS.
3. Select TELEPHONE.
4. Select the COMPUSERVE ID option.
DESCRIPTION:
The CompuServe Network is used by some processors to route
transactions. The COMPUSERVE ID function allows the terminal
operator or a service technician to view and change the
COMPUSERVE ROUTING ID number.
When this function is selected, the current Compuserve ID is dis-
played (if nothing appears on the screen, no ID is set). Select
CHANGE to blank the current entry, and then enter the desired ID
number. When done, press OK to accept the entry.
E
RROR CONDITIONS:
When CompuServe is used as the communication media for send-
ing and receiving transaction data to the Processor, an incorrect
CompuServe ID will cause communication between the terminal
and the Processor to fail. Never change the COMPUSERVE ID
unless instructed to do so by your processor.
