INTRODUCTION
This section describes how to install the 9650/9670 Cash Dispenser.

NSTALLING THE CASH DISPENSER CABINET
For detailed procedures, refer to 96XX Cash Dispenser Cabinet Installation Guide (Triton docu-
ment part number 07103-00082).

NSTALLING THE DISPENSING MECHANISM
Once the Cash Dispenser cabinet is securely in place the dispensing mechanism itself can be in-
stalled. Perform the following steps:
**CAUTION**
Be certain that you have not applied power to the Cash Dis-
penser before you continue!
1.) Verify the power switch located inside the top of the cabinet is in the OFF (“0”) posi-
tion. Remove the packing material from the ends of the cables that are inside the cabi
net.
2.) Unpack and remove the dispenser mechanism from its shipping container. CAUTION:
Use only the green handle and drive motor in rear of dispenser to lift the mecha-
nism. After the handles are installed, use them to lift the mechanism!
3a.) Align the mounting holes in the handle and internal slide member to the three threaded
holes in the side of the mechanism. Be sure that the notch in the slide member is toward
the rear of the mechanism, as shown in Figure 1.
