SDD 20T Gear Replacement Section 1 Removal Procedure Inspection - The Clutch roller on the Lever Contra and the 2 (two) 20T gears MUST have the following identification (INA HF0612KFR) or (Origin). If not then inform Triton Technical Support to obtain replacements. NOTE: The ORIGIN clutch marks the rotating direction with the arrow, The INA clutch marks the locking direction.
SDD 20T Gear Replacement - Remove the pulley gear from the shaft, using a small flat screwdriver to pry off C-clip #1, as shown. Retain the pulley gear for reinstallation. C-clip #1 Removed Pulley Gear C-clip #1 - Using a small flat screwdriver, pry off C-clip #2, and then remove the 2 (two), Gear Spur 20T ‘s from their shafts on the machine as shown.
SDD 20T Gear Replacement Removal of the Lever Contra - Remove C-clip #3 from the Lever Contra and remove the Lever Contra from the shaft. C-clip #3 Lever Contra Removed - Ensure the Lever Contra and the 2 (two) Gear Spur T20’s are scrapped. DO NOT be tempted to retain these as spare parts.
SDD 20T Gear Replacement Replacement Procedure Note: - The text on the bearings should be facing outwards so it can be read during installation. Replace Lever Contra and Gear Spur 20T - The new parts are marked with a WHITE DOT. Ensure that the dot is facing outwards upon reassembly. - Using the eye glass magnifier, ensure that the Lever Contra and 2 (two) Gear Spurs 20T’s have INA HF0612KFR or ORIGIN written on the bearing, and a white dot affixed. Be sure to place them on the shafts facing outwards.
