KEY MANAGEMENT
ACCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
1. From the M
AIN MENU screen, select the KEY MANAGEMENT option by pressing <7> on the keypad.
DESCRIPTION:
The KEY MANAGEMENT option allows the terminal operator to perform the following functions:
1. E
NTER MASTER KEYS. This function is used to enter the MAC and PIN Master Keys. Requires 2
password access (User 1 and User 2) to enter keys. You may also change the passwords in this
function.
2. DOWNLOAD WORKING KEYS. Used to download the MAC and PIN Working Keys from the processor’s
host computer.
3. CHECK DIGITS. Displays a management report that shows the check digits string for the currently
loaded Master and Working keys.
