Special cleaning cards (Triton P/N 05010-00024) are available for proper maintenance of the card reader. ese
wae-type cleaning cards may be used with multiple types of card readers. e card reader should be cleaned at
least once per month, although it may be necessary to clean card reader more oen in high trac locations.
**Note**
Cleaning cards are designed for single use.
1. Remove cleaning card from sealed pouch.
2. Insert cleaning card into card reader. Move in and out several times.
3. Remove cleaning card and turn over to use other side.
4. Re-insert cleaning card. Move in and out several times.
5. Remove cleaning card from reader and discard.
**Note**
Spare batteries can be purchased as P/N 01300-00025.
1. Perform a proper shutdown via Management Functions > System Parameters > Shutdown Terminal. Turn
power switch on the power supply to the o (O) position.
2. Uninstall the customer keypad.
3. Remove battery cover from the keypad. Set cover aside for reinstallation. Do not unplug current battery.
Caution
Do not remove the battery from the T9 keypad without rst connecting a new battery. Keypad will be perma-
nently damaged.
4. Plug replacement battery into spare battery connection.
5. Aer new battery is installed, disconnect and remove the old battery.
6. Secure new battery in compartment and replace battery cover.
7. Install keypad in unit, then power ATM on.
**Note**
Removing the T9 keypad from terminal will result in a 626 error code. Keypad must be reactivated via
www.tritonatm.com before ATM will go into service.
