Electronic locks are now equipped with a super master reset (SMR) password. is password should only be
used if the manager password has been lost/forgotten. Using the SMR password will reset lock back to factory
default settings; however, once the SMR password has been changed from factory default code, it cannot and
will not change unless a hard reset of the lock is performed.
Caution
Upon arrival, the 8-digit SMR password combination for the lock is set at 5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5. Change this pass-
word immediately, before the manager default code, or this function will be permanently lost. e SMR pass-
word is not the same as the factory default combination to the electronic lock.
To change SMR password:
1. On the electronic lock, press and hold zero (0) for three seconds.
2. e lock will beep twice and the LED light will come on and stay on until password change process is
complete.
3. Enter the default code of 5-5-5-5-5-5-5-5, holding the last digit for three seconds.
4. e lock will then enter the command menu mode. SMR has two possible commands:
— Press 0 (zero) to change the SMR password (one-time use only).
— Press 8 to reset the manager password (reset the lock).
**Note**
Once the default code is changed, it cannot be changed again. A reset box must be used to reset.
e electronic lock combination consists of six digits. Upon arrival, the combination is set at the factory de-
fault combination of 1-2-3-4-5-6. To open electronic lock, follow the steps below:

Aer each key press, the lock will beep. Aer the nal digit is entered, the lock will beep twice and the 4-sec-
ond open period will begin.
1. Enter the six-digit combination. Aer each keypress, the lock will beep. Aer the nal digit is entered, the
lock will beep twice.
2. Turn the outer dial clockwise to the open position within four seconds.
3. Aer lock is opened, the door may be opened. e bolt will retract when door is opened on the swing bolt
style lock.
Invalid code entry - Lock will beep three times if combination is entered incorrectly. Repeat steps 1 - 3.
