The diagnostics options do not have a time-out associated with them. You

must manually exit the diagnostics mode when you are ﬁnished.

FUNCTION: DIAGNOSTICS

FACTORY DEFAULT: N/A

CCESS INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Select DIAGNOSTICS from

the MANAGEMENT FUNC-

TIONS screen.

ESCRIPTION:

Select one of the following to per-

form the appropriate DIAGNOSTICS test:

1.) Select STATUS to determine the operational status of the Cash

Dispenser.

2.) Select PURGE to complete a PURGE cycle on the dispensing

mechanism.

3.) Select TEST DISPENSE to perform a combined dispense and reject

operation on the dispensing mechanism.

4.) Select FORMAT MEMORY EXPANSION CARD to erase the contents

of a memory Expansion Card and to prepare the card to receive new

data.

5.) Select the TEST RECEIPT PRINTER option to test the operation of the

Receipt Printer.

6.) Select the VERSION #’S option to display a screen that provides

version numbers for the various components of the terminal operating

software.

7.) Select the MORE DIAGNOSTICS option to access the following

diagnostic functions:

a. RESET/TEST MODEM. Select this option to verify that a modem
