FUNCTION: BAUD RATE

FACTORY DEFAULT: ‘1200’

CCESS INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Select TERMINAL CONFIGU-

RATION from the MANAGE-

MENT FUNCTIONS menu.

2.) Select SET TERMINAL PA-

RAMETERS.

3.) Select TELEPHONE.

4.) Select the MODEM SETUP option.

5.) Select BAUD RATE.

ESCRIPTION:

The bit rate of the modem can be controlled with this function. The rate can

be set to 2400 or 1200 bits per second (bps). The default rate depends on

your processor. Do not select 2400 if your processor does not support it.

RROR CONDITIONS:

If the speed of the modem is set to 2400 bps, it may not connect to a 1200

bps system. The baud rate of the modem should always be set to the value

indicated by your processor.
