FUNCTION: COMPUSERVE ID

ACTORY DEFAULT: NONE

CCESS INSTRUCTIONS:

1.) Select TERMINAL CONFIGU-

RATION from the MANAGE-

MENT FUNCTIONS menu.

2.) Select SET TERMINAL PA-

RAMETERS.

3.) Select TELEPHONE.

4.) Select the COMPUSERVE ID

option.

ESCRIPTION:

The COMPUSERVE Network is

used by some processors to route

transactions. The COMPUSERVE

ID function allows the terminal op-

erator or a service technician to view

and change the COMPUSERVE

ROUTING ID number.

RROR CONDITIONS:

When COMPUSERVE is used as the communication media for sending and

receiving transaction data to the Processor, an incorrect COMPUSERVE ID

will cause communication between the terminal and the Processor to fail.

Never change the COMPUSERVE ID unless instructed to do so by your

processor.
