d. Press CHANGE to blank the current number (if any) and enter the
edit mode.
e. Enter a carat (^) symbol. To enter a carat symbol, press the <CRTL>
key, then press the <3> key FOUR times. Press the <RIGHT
ARROW> key to lock in the character and move to the next po-
sition.
f. Enter the phone number. DO NOT enter dashes in the number!
g. Press <ENTER> to accept the number. If necessary, press EXIT
to return to the HOST TELEPHONE NUMBERS screen.
STEP 2: Turn the CARDWAY FEATURE ON
a. From the HOST TELEPHONE NUMBERS screen, select the
CARDWAY option. The following screen appears:
ON
