key (1-6) that corresponds to
the character you want to enter
(1=A, 2=B, 3=C, 4=D, 5=E,
6=F). Release the <BLUE>
key.
Repeat for each character
in the KEY. If you make a
mistake, press <CHANGE>
(or <CLEAR>) key to clear
the entry and start over. Press
<OK> (or <ENTER>) to accept
the entry.
3. A prompt will appear on the
data entry screen, directing you
to enter the KEY a second time.
Enter the KEY again, using the
instructions in Step 3.
4. If the second entry of the KEY
does not match the first entry,
a warning message will appear
and you will be returned to the
KEY MANAGEMENT main
menu. Select the ENTER MAC
WORKING KEY option again
and start over at Step 1.
6. If the second entry of the KEY
matches the first entry, you
will be prompted to enter ‘AN-
OTHER KEY PART’. In most
instances you will answer NO to
this prompt and continue with
Step 6. If a second KEY part
is required by your processor,
select YES to display a data
entry field. Enter the additional
KEY part, using the instructions
in Steps 2 through 4. When all
KEY parts have been entered,
continue with Step 6.
