FUNCTION: INJECT MASTER KEYS

CCESS INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Select TERMINAL CONFIGU-
RATION from the MANAGE-
MENT FUNCTIONS menu.
2. Select SET TERMINAL PA-
RAMETERS.
3. Select KEY MANAGEMENT.
4. Choose the INJECT MASTER KEYS option.

ESCRIPTION:
Instead of requiring manual key
entry, some processors may use
this function to inject Master Keys
into the terminal, using a personal
computer (PC) running the Triton
Key Inject software program. The
Key Inject program loads the keys
using a serial data cable connected
between the PC and the terminal’s
load-data port.
Follow these steps to inject the
Master Keys:
1. If necessary, install the key
inject software program on the
PC:
• Close all Windows ap-
plications. Place the Key
Inject installation disk into
the floppy drive.
• Select Run from the Win-
dows Start menu. Type <X>:\setup.exe (where <X> is the drive
letter of the floppy drive--typically A:) and press the ENTER key.
OR, use the Browse feature to locate and run the setup.exe file on
the floppy disk.
