BEFORE USE
• Byusingtheapplianceforthersttime,theraclette-grillmaysmelland
emitsomesmoke.Thisisnormal,thegreasethatmayhaveadheredto
theelementduringmanufactureisburningo.
• Taketheapplianceandaccessoriesoutofthebox.
Removethestickers,protectivefoilorplasticfromthedevice.
• Connectthepowercabletothesocket.(Note:Makesurethe
voltagewhichisindicatedonthedevicematchesthelocalvoltage
beforeconnectingthedevice.Voltage220V-240V50Hz)
• Beforeusingyourapplianceforthersttime,wipeoallremovable
partswithadampcloth.Neveruseabrasiveproducts.
• Placetheapplianceonastable,drysurface,andawayfromheatsources.
• Makesurethepowerswitchisowhenyouplugtheapplianceintoan
earthedpowersocket.
• Pressthepowerswitchtoturnontheappliance(thelightwillburn).
• Lettheapplianceheatupfor15minutestillhalfanhour.
• Waitforthehotplatetoheatupbeforeputtingfoodonit.
USE
• Greasethegriddleandusethepanswithoil.
• Donotuseanythingmetal,toavoiddamagingthenon-stickcoating.
• Whenyouputyourfoodonthegriddle,watchitandturnitfromtime
totime.
• Smallpiecesofmeatand/orshcookquickerthanbigpieces.
• Donotpiercethemeat;thismakesitlosesomeofitsjuicesandsomeof
itsavour.
• Duringcooking,anybitsoffoodleftbehindshouldberemoved
immediatelyincasetheysticktothehotplate.
