BEFORE USE
• Byusingtheapplianceforthefirsttime,theraclette-grillmaysmelland
emitsomesmoke.Thisisnormal,thegreasethatmayhaveadheredto
theelementduringmanufactureisburningoff.
• Taketheapplianceandaccessoriesoutofthebox.
Removethestickers,protectivefoilorplasticfromthedevice.
• Connectthepowercabletothesocket.(Note:Makesurethe
voltagewhichisindicatedonthedevicematchesthelocalvoltage
beforeconnectingthedevice.Voltage230V50Hz)
• Beforeusingyourapplianceforthefirsttime,wipeoffallremovable
partswithadampcloth.Neveruseabrasiveproducts.
• Placetheapplianceonastable,drysurface,andawayfromheatsources.
• Makesurethepowerswitchisoffwhenyouplugtheapplianceintoan
earthedpowersocket.
• Pressthepowerswitchtoturnontheappliance(thelightwillburn).
• Lettheapplianceheatupfor15minutestillhalfanhour.
• Waitforthehotplatetoheatupbeforeputtingfoodonit.
USE
• Greasethegriddleandusethepanswithoil.
• Donotuseanythingmetal,toavoiddamagingthenon-stickcoating.
• Whenyouputyourfoodonthegriddle,watchitandturnitfromtime
totime.
• Smallpiecesofmeatand/orfishcookquickerthanbigpieces.
• Donotpiercethemeat;thismakesitlosesomeofitsjuicesandsome
ofitsflavour.
• Duringcooking,anybitsoffoodleftbehindshouldberemoved
immediatelyincasetheysticktothehotplate.
