? Pressing the Up and Down buttons will scroll through the list,
displaying the entry number (“1“ through “10“) and the 3-digit channel
number saved for each contact.
? If there is no 3-digit number stored in a Contact location, the display
shows “nonE” in the channel digits.
? Pressing the Select button while displaying one of the saved 3-digit
Channels will choose that number as the current Channel and the
display will return to the main screen.
? Press the Menu button to return to the main screen without selecting
the new contact channel.
? If select is pressed while an empty contact is highlighted, you will
return to the main screen without selecting a new contact channel.
? Pressing the Select button while “Add” is displayed allows you to add a new
Channel to the Contact List.
? The small digits will show a “1“ if memory slot one is empty
? If slot one is used, the number of the first empty slot is displayed
? If all slots are used, the display will show “FULL”
? Pressing Select on an empty memory slot will allow you to enter a
Channel in the same manner as before (using the UP, Down, and
Right (>) buttons to enter the desired channel).
? Pressing the Select button saves the entry and returns you to the main
screen (does not change the current channel)
? Pressing the menu button returns you to the main screen without
saving the new contact.
? Pressing the Select button while “dEL” is displayed allows you to delete
previously stored numbers from the Contacts List.
? The small numbers will display “1” and the large numbers will display
the 3-digit number stored in that memory slot
? If there are no memory slots used the display will show “nonE”.
? Pressing the Select button while a Channel is displayed will delete
that entry and return you to the main screen
? Press the Menu button to return to the main screen without deleting a
contact.
? VOX (Voice Activated Transmitting)
The TSX100 may be set in VOX mode so that transmission can be activated by voice
audio either through the internal or an external microphone. The radio has 3 VOX
sensitivity settings to adjust the voice volume needed for transmission activation.
