UPS and Battery Disposal
• Always comply with local ordinances for proper methods of recycling and disposal of electronic
equipment.
• When purchasing a new UPS from Tripp Lite, you may send an old UPS back for recycling on a
one-for-one, like-for-like basis. The new equipment should also be sent back to Tripp Lite when it
ultimately becomes waste.
• Batteries can present risk of electric shock, burn and fire if not disposed of properly.
