Connecting the PDU
Note: The PDU includes two input power cords: Primary and Secondary. They should be connected to two
separate AC power sources.

For proper ATS (automatic transfer
switch)function,donotplugthe
Secondary input into the same
powersourceasthePrimaryinput.
ThePDUwilldistributeACpower
from the Secondary input only if the
Primaryinputbecomesunavailable
due to an outage or power quality
problem. (See "Configuration and
Operation"formoreinformation
abouttheATSfunction.)

Connect Equipment to the PDU:
Donotexceedthetotalloadrating
ofthePDUoroutputloadbank.The
connected equipment load will be
displayed on the digital load meter
in amperes.

Cord Retention (Optional): If you
connected the cord retention
bracketstothePDU,attacheach
equipment power cord to a cord
retentionbracketbyloopingthecord
and securing it to an attachment
point with one of the included cable
ties.Makesurethateachpower
cord can be unplugged from the
PDUwithoutremovingthecabletie.
