18 4 • DEPANNAGE 4.1 Guide de Dépannage INDICE Les Prises “Surge Protected” (Prises avec Protection contre les Surtensions) sont surchargées Le système d’UPS n’est pas branché à une prise C.A. sous tension PROBLEME Enregistrez les fichiers et arrêtez l’ordinateur, puis éteignez le système d’UPS et chargez la batterie pendant 4 à 6 heures afin d’éviter le drain de la batterie Débranchez au moins un dispositif de toute prise protégée contre les surtensions.
3 • CONTROLS 1) Power On/Off Switch: The On/Off switch is recessed to prevent accidental equipment turn-off while allowing convenient one-touch power control. "I" = ON and "O" = OFF. Note: Even when switched OFF, the UPS maintains a battery charge whenever it is plugged in and utility voltage is present. Alarm Will Sound If . . . . . . the UPS detects either an undercharged battery or overloaded outlets when you turn the Power Switch ON. Follow instructions on Check Battery and UPS Overload LEDs.

Troubleshooting Guide 4 • TROUBLESHOOTING 4.1 SYMPTOM The Surge Protected Outlets are overloaded UPS is not plugged into a live AC outlet PROBLEM After saving files and switching off your computer, turn the UPS OFF and charge the battery for 4 - 6 hours. Switching OFF the UPS will prevent the battery from unnecessary draining Unplug at least one piece of equipment from any Surge Protected Outlet. Press the circuit breaker button back into place Plug the UPS into a live AC outlet.
