You may also export a report about this camera by selecting the SCR Key. You can retrieve
the report, along with any screenshots or recordings, by plugging the mini USB cable into
the tester and then attaching it to your computer. Your computer will view the Tester as an
external drive. See Appendix 1 for a sample report.
STEP 6: ONVIF Video Testing
While on the Discover screen, press the Right Arrow Key to move to the “3. Video & PTZ” Test
Screen (see example below). The Video & PTZ Test Screen will allow you to view a live video feed
from your IP camera, control and test PTZ, and enter the camera’s setup settings.
When entering the Video & PTZ Test Screen. the Tester will automatically display the camera’s
video stream. The video image will re-size to the reserved area of the screen.
ONVIF PTZ CONTROL:
Pressing the SCR Key will switch to full screen video display mode, and all display
information will be hidden. The video image will cover most of the screen area. Due to width
to height ratio differences, part of the screen could be black with nothing to display. In full
screen mode, use the Focus +/- and the Arrow Keys to control PTZ.
Press the SET Key toaccess and change the stream profile settings (e.g., Baud Rate,
Protocol [Pelco D, Samsung, Hikvision, etc.], Address, etc.)
ONVIF VIDEO DIGITAL ZOOM:
On the video display screen, pressing the 1 Key will digitally zoom in, and pressing the
Q Key will zoom out. When the image is partly shown, a chart will be displayed on the
lower right corner that shows the display ratio. When the image is partly shown, pressing
the E, S, D, and F Keys will move the viewing window to inspect different portions of the
digitally zoomed image.
CAPTURING SCREEN SHOTS AND VIDEO:
To capture a screen shot, press the A Key. To capture video, press the Z Key.
