Trimble R6/R7 GPS and Trimble R8 GNSS Receivers User Guide 97
Configuration 15
In this chapter:
Q Configuring the receiver in real
time
Q Configuring the receiver using
application files
Q Application files
The Trimble R6 GPS and R8 GNSS receivers have
no controls to change settings. To configure the
receiver, use external software such as GPS
Configurator, WinFlash, or Trimble Survey
Controller.
There are two ways to configure the receiver. You
can:
• configure the receiver in real time
• apply the settings in an application file
This chapter provides a brief overview of each of
these methods and describes the contents and
use of application files.
