Thetabletcomputerhasonecomboaudioconnector thatsupportsbothaudioinandaudioout
devices.Youcanconnectspeakers,headphones,orearphones.
Toconnectanaudiodevice,simplyplugthedevicecableintotheaudioconnectorontheleftside
ofthetabletcomputer.
ConnectingtoUSBdevices
ThetabletcomputerhastwoUSBportsforconnectingUSBdevices,suchasaflashdiskdrive,
scanner,printer,keyboard,andmouse.Thetabletcomputerhasbuilt‐insupportformassstorage
devicesandhumaninterfacedevices.
OthertypesofUSBdevicesmayrequiredrivers.
ToconnectaUSBdevice,plugthedevicecableintooneoftheUSBportsoneithersideofthe
tabletcomputer.

Ifyourtabletcomputercomes withbuilt‐inWi‐Fi(alsocalledWirelessLAN(WLAN)or802.11)
capability,youcanconnecttoavailableaccesspointsorhotspotstowirelesslytransmitdatato
andfromthetabletcomputer.
TofindoutifyourtabletcomputerhasWi‐Fiinstalled,ontheAppsscreen,tapPCSettings,thentap
Network.
Note–Wi‐Fiisoffbydefault;howevertheon/offstatewillpersistafterareset.
ToturnWi‐Fionoroff,andtoconnecttoWi‐Finetworks:
1. On the Desktop, in the notification area, tap the Networks  icon [ICON]. The Networks
paneldisplays.AllWi‐Finetworksthatareinrangearelisted.

2. UsetheNetworkspanelto:
 TurnAirplanemodeonoroff(turnsallwirelessradiosonoroff).

 TurnWi‐Fionoroff.

 Connecttoa Wi‐Finetwork.Tapthenetworkyouwanttoconnectto,thentapConnect.
Ifrequired,enterapassword.
