Chargingthebattery
ThetabletcomputeroperatesonexternalACpowerorbatterypower.
WARNING–ChargeandusetherechargeableLithium‐ionbatteryonlyinstrictaccordancewiththeinstructions.
Chargingorusingthebatteryinunauthorizedequipmentcancauseanexplosionorfire,andcanresultinpersonal
injuryand/orequipmentdamage.
Topreventinjuryordamage:
–Donotchargeorusethebatteryifitappearstobedamagedorleaking.
–ChargetheLithium‐ionbatteryonlyinaTrimbleproductthatisspecifiedtochargeit.Besuretofollowall
instructionsthatareprovidedwiththebatterycharger.
–Discontinuechargingabatterythatgivesoffextremeheatoraburningodor.
–UsethebatteryonlyinTrimbleequipmentthatisspecifiedtouseit.
–Usethebatteryonlyforitsintendeduseandaccordingtotheinstructionsintheproductdocumentation.
ToconnectthetabletcomputertoACpowerandchargethebatteryinsidethedevice:
1. Connecttheappropriateplugtothepowercordandattachthepowersupply.

2. Plugintoanelectricaloutletandplugthebarrelendofthepowersupply intotheunit.
WhentheACadapterisconnected,thebatteryischarging.Thebatterywillchargefullyinabout
4.5hours.ThebatteryLEDindicatorglowsambertoindicatethatchargingisinprogress.When
thebatteryisfullycharged,thebatteryLEDindicatorglowsgreen.
Youcanalsousetheofficebatterychargertochargeabatteryoutsideofthedevice.

LEDstatus
TherearetwoLEDsonthefrontleftsideofthedevicethatprovidestatusinformation:
 The Power LED shows the following different states:
Solidblue‐tabletcomputeristurnedon.
Flashing blue‐tablet computer is in sleep
mode.Off‐tabletcomputeristurn edoff.
 ThebatteryLEDshowsthefollowingdifferentstates:
 Solidgreen‐tabletcomputerison,deviceisconnectedtomainspower,andthebattery
isfullycharging.

 Solidamber‐tabletcomputerison,deviceisconnectedtomainspower,and battery
ischarging.
