Data connection status indicators
Following are some of the status indicators that you may see on
the navigation bar on the top of the screen.

SIM card missing
EDGE available; there are no
data sessions active
Faulty SIM card EDGE connected
New voice mail
GPRS available; there are no
data sessions active
Phone is turned on and
signal strength
GPRS connected
Phone is turned off. To
turn it on, tap this icon
Tap to view more
notifications
No signal Data call is in progress
No service. Phone
connection unavailable or
network error.
New Instant message
received
Lost signal. The unit is
searching for a signal.
