Conﬁ guring ADL Vantage/ADL Vantage Pro

ADLCONF Conﬁ gura on So ware

ADLCONF is a suite of so ware u li es for conﬁ guring and troubleshoo ng Paciﬁ c Crest’s Advanced Data

Link (ADL) line of digital communica on radios and modems. Running ADLCONF on a PC a ached via

serial cable to an ADL radio allows you to check the status of the radio, input receive-only channel tables,

and set radio parameters such as channel bandwidth and output power. Channel tables for transmission

of data must be obtained from authorized Paciﬁ c Crest dealers. If your radio did not come with a channel

table already installed, you can obtain one from your dealer and import it using ADLCONF.

ADLCONF is a so ware applica on for conﬁ guring all ADL radios. The latest version is available for free

download from

www.Paciﬁ cCrest.com. A user guide that completely describes how to conﬁ gure ADL

radios is available by running ADLCONF and clicking Help > User Guide. The ADLCONF User’s Guide is also

available on the Paciﬁ c Crest website.

Factory Default Se ngs

You can return your ADL Vantage/ADL Vantage Pro radio to its factory default conﬁ gura on using ADL-

CONF so ware. Simply click the Restore Factory bu on to the right of the screen and then the Program

bu on. The factory default se ngs are described in are described in Table 1 on pages 8-9.

The ADL Vantage/ADL Vantage Pro Oﬃ ce Accessory Kits consists of the following:

• Wall/mains power supply

• Wall plug with adaptor set

• Programming cable
