Industry Canada Statements
The following statement must be included as a CAUTION statement to alert users of Industry
Canada RF exposure compliance:
The Trilliant SecureMesh FocusP Radio Module must only use the approved antenna(s) listed
below, which have been certified with this module.
Antenna Approved for use
The SecureMesh FocusP devices have been designed to operate with its permanently attached
antenna listed below and having a maximum gain of 1.1 dBi. Antenna type not included in this
list or having a gain greater than 1.1 dBi are strictly prohibited for use with this device. The
required antenna impedance is 50 ohms.
• PCB Trace Inverted-L Antenna (1.1 dBi gain)
This device complies with Industry Canada license-exempt RSS standard(s). Operation is subject to the
following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause interference, and (2) this device must accept
any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.

To satisfy Industry Canada RF Exposure requirements for mobile and base station transmission devices, a
separation distance of 20 cm or more should be maintained between the antenna of this device and
persons during operation. To ensure compliance, operation at closer than this distance is not
recommended.
