Installation Your dryer contains an extensible vert hose. We recommend you always use ditto avoid condensation. Simply pull the hose from the exhaust outlet at the bottom right hand corner at the back of your dryer and lead the hose to a partly open door or window. (A permanent connection may be made with the optional Wall/Window Vent Kit). Do not use the dryer in a confined space with the vent hose retracted.
2.1 22 23 Electrical information WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. The mains lead of this appliance is fitted with a BS 1363A 13 amp fused plug. To change fuse in this type of plug use an A.8.T.A. approved fuse to BS 1362 type. 1: Remove the fuse cover (A} and fuse (B) 2. Fit replacement 13A fuse into fuse cover 3. Refit both into pig. IMPORTANT: The fuse cover must be refitted when changing a fuse and if the fuse cover is lost the plug must not be used until a correct replacement is fitted.
Control panel Heat Switch The timer. Select the drying time from the recommendations shown on the control panel. Turn the timer knob clockwise until the setting required appears at that op. The heat switch. Select high () or low (ML) heat as recommended on the control panel. Operation Roll dripping wet articles in a towel 10 remove excess wale. Sort out the clothes into groups of similar fabrics and colors. Check the care fable inside the garment.
4.5 4.6 Should the clothes become dry before the cycle has finished, or if an excessive programmer time has been selected, the sensor dry thermostat will automatically switch off the heater to prevent over drying and save energy, although the drum will still rotate. The heater may switch on again for short periods at a later stage. There is an automatic 12 minute cool down period at the end of every cycle, during which the heater is switched off. This helps to minimize creasing.
Don's Do not — Overload the dryer. Do not— Dry articles singly as they tend o roll up and 8o increase drying time. Do not— Dry woolen ar wool mixture articles unless the article is labeled as suitable. Do not — Allow venting hose {where applicable) or filter 1o become blocked. Do not — Allow fluff to accumulate around the tumble dryer, Do not — Attempt to dry dripping wet articles, or terns containing foam rubber, or rubber-like materials in the dryer.
10 To change door to right hand Your dryer is fitted with a reversible door. To change the direction of opening proceed as follows: 10.1 Open the door. Undo screw A. Remove switch strike B and replace screw. Remove screws C and latch plate D. Remove hinge block screws E. Remove door from hinge blocks. 10.2 Remove hinge screws F and hinge G and refit to opposite side as shown, 10.3 Refit latch plate D with screws C. Remove screw H at top of door and refit switch strike B as shown.
