DESCRIPTION OF THE APPLIANCE A B Open the appliance door and the furniture door at 90¡. Insert the small square (B) into guide (A). Put together the appliance door and the furniture door and mark the holes as indicated in the figure. Remove the squares and drill holes with ¿ 2 mm at 8 mm from the outer edge of the door. Place the small square on the guide again and fix it with the screws supplied.
OPERATION Apply covers (B) on joint cover lugs and into hinge holes. Before using Remove all securing tapes. Wash inside the appliance with lukewarm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water). B Do not use soap or detergent as the smell may linger. Dry thoroughly.
Frozen food storage Making ice cubes When you first start the freezer or if the freezer has been out of use for some time, we advise you to depress the ambient switch for at least two hours before storing frozen food. The appliance is provided with one or more plastic ice cube trays. Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the manufacturer. To release the ice cubes simply give the tray a slightl twist. Do not use sharp or metallic instruments to remove the trays from the freezer.
Movable shelves Instructions for totally built-in appliances The walls of the refrigerator have runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . Door reversal The appliance is supplied with the right door opening. To change the opening direction of the door proceed as in the following instructions before installing it. HINTS AND TIPS Electrical connections Normal Operating Sounds ¥ ¥ You may hear faint gurgling or bubbling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear, to the cooling plate/evaporator. ¥ Do not install the appliance close to sources of heat, such as a boiler or radiator. WARNING: THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE EARTHED. ¥ When the compressor is on, the refrigerant is being pumped round, and you will hear a whirring sound or pulsating noise from the compressor.
INSTALLATION Warning IF YOU ARE DISCARDING AN OLD APPLIANCE THAT HAS A LOCK OR CATCH ON THE DOOR, YOU MUST ENSURE THAT IT IS MADE UNUSABLE TO PREVENT YOUNG CHILDREN BEING TRAPPED INSIDE. Depending upon the position which you choose for your appliance, you may wish to reverse the way in which the door opens. To do this, refer to instructions on ÒDoor reversal directionsÓ.
