Fast Freeze Switch
The fast freeze switch is situated on the top right hand
side of the appliance. Push the switch in to release it,
the yellow indicator light will come on to show that is is
in operation.
It is important that fresh food placed in the freezer is
frozen quickly and that the food already in the freezer
is heated as little as possible.
The Freezer
When freezing fresh food always place the food in the
freezing compartment which is the top drawer in the
freezer section.

If the quantity of fresh food to be frozen is 3
kg or less:
1. Turn the thermostat control to 5 (max).
2. Place the food to be frozen in the top drawer.
3. After 24 hours reset the thermostat control to its
normal setting and place the frozen food into the
storage compartments.

If the quantity of fresh food is over 3 kg (up to
the maximum of 18 kg):
1. Push in the fast freeze switch to release it, the
indicator light will come on.
2. Place the food to be frozen into the top drawer.
3. After 24 hours turn off the fast freeze by pushing
the switch back into the recessed position. The
indicator light will go out.
Frozen Food Storage
When first starting the freezer or if the freezer has
been out of use for some time, we advise you to run
your appliance for at least 2 hours before storing
frozen food.
Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the
manufacturer.
Do not open the door frequently or leave it open
longer than is necessary.
Important
Do not put carbonated liquids in the freezer.
Ice lollies, if consumed immediately after removal
from the freezer can cause a low temperature skin
burn.
