INS TR UCTIONS FOR THE USER General information This appliance is designed for the storage of refrigerated and frozen food in a domestic environment. To ensure correct operation, the appliance should be located where the ambient temperature is between 16-32 °C. Using the Appliance This appliance is designed for domestic use only, specifically for the storage of edible foodstuffs. The appliance is designed to operate in ambient temperatures (surrounding air temperature) between 16 °C and 32 °C. If these temperatures are exceeded i.e. colder or warmer, the appliance will not operate correctly. Should the ambient temperatures be exceeded for long periods, the temperature in the freezer section will rise above -18 °C and food spoilage may occur.
In determining the correct temperature control setting, all these factors have to be considered and some experimentation may be necessary. Do not allow children to tamper with the controls or play with the product. Indicator Light The green indicator light is situated in the control panel. When the appliance is switched on at the mains the green indicator light will glow and continue to glow until the appliance is switched off at the mains.
Fast Freeze Switch The fast freeze switch is situated on the top right hand side of the appliance. Push the switch in to release it, the yellow indicator light will come on to show that is is in operation. It is important that fresh food placed in the freezer is frozen quickly and that the food already in the freezer is heated as little as possible. The Freezer When freezing fresh food always place the food in the freezing compartment which is the top drawer in the freezer section.
In the event of a power cut the food in the freezer will not be affected if the power cut is short and the freezer is full. Do not open the door. Should the food begin to thaw it must be consumed quickly and must not be re-frozen. (See Hints and Tips) Any frozen food which is allowed to thaw accidentally should either be eaten as soon as possible, or thrown away. Alternatively, if the food is uncooked and has not been completely defrosted it can be cooked and then refrozen.
Ensure there are no obstructions preventing the door from closing properly. In the Event of a Power Failure If there is a power failure during the storage of frozen foods, keep the door closed. If the temperature within your freezer should rise, do not refreeze the food without checking its condition. The following guidelines should assist you: Ice Cream: Once thawed should be discarded. Fruits & Vegetables: If soft should be cooked and used up. Breads & Cakes: Can be refrozen without danger.
Important To avoid defrost water overflowing into the fridge, periodicallyclean the water discharge hole in the centre of the V shaped drip collector at the back of the refrigerator compartment, behind the salad drawers. Use the defrost cleaner provided which you will find already inserted into the discharge hole. Remember to wash to defrost cleaner in hot soapy water at regular intervals. Dry thoroughly before replacing.

Levelling the Appliance When placing the appliance ensure that it stands level. This can be achieved by adjusting either or both of the feet (1) at the front of the appliance. If required the washers (2), that are accessories of the feet, can be removed. Do not stand the appliance next to a source of heat a radiator or cooker. Ventilation Requirements The appliance must have adequate ventilation to ensure correct operation. Diagram shows the ventilation requirements when installed: A Under a cupboard.
Door Reversal If required the direction of the door can be changed as follows: In figure the TB 110 FF appliance can be seen. Remove carefully (e.g. with a knife) the covering nails of screws fixing the bottom cover grid, then the cover grid can be removed by unscrewing the plate-screws (2 pieces). Dismount the bottom door holder of the freezer by removing the screws (2 pieces) and the fill plates (2 pieces). Take off the door of the freezer by pulling it slightly downwards.
Electrical Connection Any electrical work required to install this appliance should be carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. This appliance must be earthed. The manufacturer declines any liability should these safety measures not be observed. Electrical Requirements Before switching on, make sure the electricity supply voltage is the same as that indicated on the appliance rating plate. The appliance is supplied with a 13 amp plug fitted.
