INSTALLATION ABOVE OVEN
When ever the hob is fitted above an oven in a
built under situation, we recommend the hob
sould be fitted and connected into the hob
aperture first using 8 mm., small soft copper
pipe, also using recognised connector fittings.
The pipework should be routed to the back od
the housing unit. Before commencing it would be
advisable to slide the oven into the housing and
view through the hob aperture cut-out to identify
the space available for pipework.
Connecting the pipework to the hob can be
achieved using the supplied fittings and two
further recognised fittings that can be obtained
from local reputable plumber merchant as
detailed below.
- Adaptor
- 1/4 BSP female to 15 mm. copper fitting
- Brass insert bullet 15 mm. O/D to either 8
or 10 mm. I/D
IMPORTANT
Be careful to ensure that the hob supply cord
does not come into contact with surfaces with
temperatures higher than 50 ° C.
