Installation Before installing or using the machine unpack it as 3. Remove the polystyrene base and take off the follows: bottom pane by unscrewing the central screw. However, if this is not possible, it may be attached to suitable taps, and the drain hose discharged into a sink. 8.

Then tighten the ring nut fully to prevent teaks. 12.1 Hook the end of the drain hose into a standpipe provided for the purpose. 12.2 The standpipe must have an internal diameter of at least 30 o that there is an air gap between the drain hose and the standpipe.
13.1 The machine must be absolutely level in order to prevent noise, vibration and displacement of the appliance during operation. 13.2 Some vibration is inevitable, especially on a wooden floor. Sprung wooden floors are particularly susceptible. Place the machine on a solid floor wherever possible. 13.3 Level the machine by raising or lowering the adjustable feet. WHICH DETERGENT ? To maintain the appearance of your clothes and household textiles and to make them east longer you should use different types of detergent for different washes, whether for whites, colors or delicate.
Maintenance To ensure maximum performance from your machine you should read the following advice carefully, and carry out the suggested routing operations at the stated intervals. IMPORTANT You should unplug the appliance before all cleaning and maintenance activity, AFTER EACH WASH Once you have finished using the machine, unplug it and turn off the warier supply. Leave the door open for a while. This helps prevent mold and stagnant smells forming inside the appliance.
EXTERNAL CLEANING Clean the outside of the machine when necessary. Use only soap and water. Dry thoroughly. CLEANING THE DRAIN FILTER You should clean the drain filter afire every wash. ft is essential that the filter is kept clean, so that the machine can function correctly. If the filter is blocked, and the machine is unable to drain, you will need 1o empty the water at this stage. To do this, unhook the drain hose from the standpipe or sink and hood the end of the hose over a bowl on the floor.
Servicing Certain problems may result from oversight, or lack of simple maintenance. These can be solved easily, without the need for a Service Call. IF THE MACHINE WON'T START {and the pilot light stays off) Check that: the tinfoil» button is pressed in; the door is properly closed; the appliance is plugged in; there is power to the socket: plug in an appliance you know to be working; if this also fails to work check the fuse and/or consult a qualified electrician.
