Go to the Main Menu, select "Channel Manager", select "Reinstallation".
Enter password upon request.
A warning message appears. Press "EXIT" to cancel or OK to confirm.
Start your individual channel search process, using "Auto Search" or "Manual Search" in the "
Channel Manager" menu.
When using an active antenna, please make sure to set the "Antenna Booster Power" option to
"ON" in the "General Settings" menu before starting channel search.
9.17 Software Update / System Information
If necessary, this receiver can be updated with the latest software version. There are two ways of
doing this:
9.16 Reinstallation
This function will delete all channel data and all individual settings from the receiver, and all
settings will be reset to their default values.

9.15 Delete All Channels
This function will delete all channel data from the receiver. All other individual settings will be kept.

You need a data cable (RS 232C(cross type) ), special data transmission software for your PC and
the software update for the receiver. Software updates can be obtained from the TRIAX website.
Please check under www.triax.com to see whether a more recent release for your STB is available.
System Information
This item of the main menu contains information about the current version of software and firmware
of the device. In case you have questions about functions of the device, this information is
important to note.
The help file of this menu contains information about how to start an OTA software update
manually. This service, however, is still in the experimental stages and is not widely available at this
time. (Details: see above.).
Software update via aerial antenna (OTA).
This service is in the planning stage of being added to the regular broadcasts of one the local
stations. Due to the limited number of frequencies for terrestrial broadcasting of digital TV
programs, these data packets can only be transmitted during a few night hours and in strict rotation
among all equipment manufacturers. Details of this regulation are not known at the time of print.
Please contact your dealer for information about update possibilities planned or already in
