DHW Integral Gain

DHW Proportional Gain allows the cascade response to
be adjusted for a domestic hot water call. DHW Proportion-
al Gain has the greatest inuence when the system tem-
perature is far away from the setpoint.
Adjust the DHW Prop. Gain value using the LEFT or RIGHT
keys, then store the setting with the OK key.
• Increase DHW Proportional Gain
- The Cascade System will reach setpoint faster, but over-
shooting the setpoint may occur.
- To reach the setpoint faster, increase the DHW Proportion-
al Gain value by 2. Perform Cascade Autodetection and
initiate a domestic hot water call. Observe the cascade re-
sponse and make further adjustments if necessary.
Decrease DHW Proportional Gain
- The Cascade System will take longer to reach the setpoint,
but setpoint overshooting is minimized.
- If the setpoint is reached too quickly, decrease the DHW
Proportional Gain value by 2. Perform Cascade Autodetec-
tion and initiate a domestic hot water call. Observe the cas-
cade response and make further adjustments if necessary.
Default: 7
Please consult Triangle Tube’s technical Support be-
fore making any adjustments. Improper adjustment
of DHW Proportional Gain could lead to tempera-
ture fluctuations and erratic cascade operation.
NOTICE
DHW Integral Gain allows the cascade response to be
adjusted for a domestic hot water call. DHW Integral Gain
has the greatest inuence when the system temperature is
close to the setpoint.
Adjust the DHW Integral Gain value using the LEFT or
RIGHT keys, then store the setting with the OK key.
Increase DHW Integral Gain
- The Cascade System will take longer to reach the set-
