Sony-Ericsson mobile phones setup
This section describes setting up and using the Car Kit with a Sony-Ericsson
phone.
Establishing a wireless connection
Refer to the following to establish a wireless connection between your phone and
the Car Kit. (Details on changing your phone’s settings are provided in the user’s
manual that came with your phone.)
1. Turn on the car ignition, then turn on the phone.
2. Scroll through the Menu and select Connect. Press Yes.
3. Scroll to Bluetooth and press Yes.
4. Scroll to Receive item and press Yes.
5. The Assign a personal phone name prompt appears.
Assign a personal name if you wish, or press No.
6. Ready to receive Infrared and Bluetooth appears.
7. Scroll to Connect and press Yes.
8. Scroll to Bluetooth and press Yes.
9. Scroll to Discover and press Yes.
10. Scroll to Triamp and press Yes.
11. The prompt Add to paired appears. Press Yes.
12. Enter the factory default passkey number 1234 and press Yes.
