Additional drilled and
countersunk screws
required if Pan is not
in contact with joists/
concrete floor.
Ensure all the cut edges a re supported, then drill, countersink and screw the Pan to t he joist s below in a round 7.87”
in te rvals (avoiding pipes, elect ric wires, etc .).
Import ant: Do not cut the edges that adjoin surroun ding floor. Cut ting the Pan m ay reduce flow rate pe rform ance.

If Pan is not in contact with j oist/concrete floor you m ust dri ll out
and countersink the Pan to ensure it does. Failu re to do this w ill allow
unacceptable m ove ment and may cause floor tiles t o crack or becom e loose.
