is still enough energy remaining to run the lights for about two hours. If the battery-pack is fully
drained, the lights will be powered by the system as it switches to generative mode automatically.
• Removing and installing the Controller
The RIDE+ Easy II Controller can easily be removed from the bike: just slide it to the right. Putting
the RIDE+ Easy II controller onto the bike is just as easy: slide it from right to left into its clamp
until it clicks in place. To prevent loss of riding information, please make sure that the controller is
switched off before it is removed from the bike.
• Unintended removal of Controller out of its dock
If the controller is moved off its clamp while the system is active (‘on’), the system will no longer
assist, even when the controller is replaced into its clamp. Please select the correct level of
assistance again to reactivate the system.
• See total distance/ trip distance
The controller can measure two types of riding information. Push ‘-’
button for 5 seconds to switch between total distance and trip distance.
• Set the trip distance to zero (0)
The trip distance can be reset to zero by pressing the ‘+’ button pushed
for 5 seconds.
• Switch between miles/kilometers
The display can show both miles and kilometers. To switch between
miles and kilometers, push the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ button simultaneously for 5
seconds.
