CHANGING THE BATTERY
1. Use your fingernail or credit card in the opening slot and twist to open the device
enclosure.
2. If you installed your TraqFeq in an accessible location, the one half of the
enclosure that’s attached to your instrument with the double-sided tape will
remain on the instrument. The other half that comes off will contain the battery
and its compartment so you do not need to remove the one half with the double-
sided tape. If your TraqFeq is placed inside an instrument, lightly twist and rotate
the TragFreq device to loosen the tape. In this case, the tape will need to be
replaced after each battery replacement.
3. Remove the old battery. Insert the new battery into the device with the positive
side (+) facing up.
4. Align one half of the enclosure and snap the enclosure together.
5. Once the battery has been replaced and the device reattached to your
instrument, always start up the TraqFreq app and sync with your device. This
step checks that the battery was inserted correctly, that the battery is providing
the correct current, and that your device is working as expected. Without this
step, your TraqFreq device may not be operating correctly and it may not record
your playing and climate conditions as expected.
