set dot1x timeout supplicant
Sets the number of seconds that must elapse before the MX switch times out an authentication
session with a supplicant (client).
Syntax
set dot1x timeout supplicant seconds
Defaults
The default is 30 seconds.
Access
Enabled.
History
Introduced in MSS 1.0.
Examples
Type the following command to set the number of seconds for authentication session
timeout to 300:
MX# set dot1x timeout supplicant 300
success: dot1x supplicant timeout set to 300.

set dot1x tx-period
Sets the number of seconds that must elapse before the MX switch retransmits an EAPoL packet.
Syntax
set dot1x tx-period seconds
Defaults
The default is 5 seconds.

Introduced in MSS 1.0.
Examples
Type the following command to set the number of seconds before the MX retransmits an
EAPoL packet to 300:
MX# set dot1x tx-period 300
success: dot1x tx-period set to 300.
