Powering the LANMaster T8 Ensuring Compliance with 5-Segment Rule To conform to the Ethernet 802.3 specification, when connecting LANMaster T8 Hubs, the transmission path between any two Data Terminating Equipment (DTE) devices can consist of no more than five segments.
