If
Set Power Mode (98h) is called using the USB interface and mode 0x03 is
specified the module will instead be set to 0x02. In order to set the module to
mode 0x03 the command must be called using the RS232 interface.
The command gets the current power mode setting from the module:

Get User Mode (69h)
The Get User Mode command returns the type of application in which the M5e/M5e-
Compact can be used. The available user modes are shown in the table:
