RECORD Mode︱
There are two ways to use the player‟s record functions:
 Press the button to open the Main Menu and select RECORD.
 Press and hold the button for 2 seconds in any mode.
The MP330 supports three different types of recording:
 Voice Recording
 Line-in Recording
 FM Radio Recording
Voice Recording
1. Press and hold the button for 2 seconds in any mode (except Radio) or select RECORD from
the Main Menu to activate the MP330‟s built-in microphone and begin voice recording.
2. An automatically generated file name for your recording will appear on the screen.
3. Press to pause the recording, and press again to resume.
4. Press the / button to finish the recording. The player will return to the Main Menu.
o Voice recordings are named and numbered in this format: “YearMonthDayM##.WAV”
Ex: “20113M12.WAV “would be the twelfth Voice recording made on January 13
th
, 2012.
o Voice recording are saved in the /RECORD/MIC folder. Use the File Navigator in MUSIC mode to
locate and play back recordings
o To adjust the recording sample rate, please see “Settings / Record Quality”
o For best results, try to position the MP330’s Microphone as close as possible to the source of the
sound or voice you are recording.
