Troubleshooting
IfaproblemoccurswithyourMulti-CardReader,pleasefirstchecktheinformationlistedbelowbefore
takingyourMulti-CardReaderforrepair.Ifyouareunabletoremedyaproblemfromthefollowinghints,

GototheDeviceManagerintheControlPanelandenabletheAuto-InsertfunctionfortheCD-ROM
drive.
OperatingsystemcannotdetecttheMulti-CardReader
Checkthefollowing:
1.
IsyourMulti-CardReaderproperlyconnectedtotheUSBport?Ifnot,unplugitandplugitinagain.
2.
Is your Multi-Card Reader connected to the Mac keyboard? If yes, unplug it and plug it into an
availableUSBportonyourMacDesktop.
3.
IstheUSBportenabled?Ifnot,refertotheuser’smanualofyourcomputer(ormotherboard)toenable
it.
4.
Isthenecessarydriverinstalled?IfyourcomputerisusingWindows

Whywon’ttheMulti-CardReaderrecognizemyMemoryCard?
FirstcheckthattheMemoryCardiscompatiblewiththeCardReader,thencheckthatyouinsertedthe
MemoryCardcorrectlywiththeappropriatesidefacingup/down.
WhenIplugmyMulti-CardReaderintoaMac

theReaderdoesNOTappear?
Checkthefollowing:
1.
IfyourMac

OSispre-Mac
™
OS10.1.2youmustinstallthedriverfromtheCD.
2.
AcompatibleMemoryCardmustbeinsertedintotheMulti-CardReaderbeforetheReaderwillappear
ontheMac’sscreen.
CannotfindthefilethatwasjustcopiedusingtheMulti-CardReader
Youshouldalwaysopenatransferredfileinitsnewlocationtoensureittransferredsuccessfully.Re-copy
thefileandrefertothe“
DisconnectingfromaComputer”sectiontoremovetheReaderafterthecopying
processiscompleted.
AFilethatwasjustdeletedstillappears
Re-deletethefileandrefertothe“DisconnectingfromaComputer”sectiontoremovetheReaderafter
thedeleteprocessiscompleted.
