Formatting the Hard Drive

How to format the StoreJet
™
2.5 with FAT32 file system in Windows
®
2000/XP:
1. Plug the StoreJet 2.5 into an available USB port on a Windows
®
2000/XP computer.
2. Unplug all other USB storage devices from your computer. This is to prevent accidental format of
a different USB drive.
3. Insert the included Driver CD into your computer’s CD-ROM drive.
4. Open “StoreJetFormatter.exe” in the “Software” folder of the Driver CD.
5. The program will automatically detect the StoreJet 2.5 drive.
6. Under File System, select “FAT 32” from the drop down list.
7. Press “Start”.
