WHEEL ADAPTER INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Check drum for burrs, rivet heads or other obstructions which could prevent proper seating of the adapter.
2. Torque to specifications - 70-80 lbs. ft. for 7/16”-20 studs and 80-90 lbs. ft. for 1/2”-20 studs or 12mm - unoiled.
3. Check wheel for burrs, rivet heads or other obstructions which could prevent proper seating of the adapter.
4. Mount wheel adapter. Torque to specifications - DO NOT USE IMAPACT WRENCH. 70-80 lbs. ft. for 7/16”-20 studs
and 80-90 lbs. ft 1/2”-20 studs - unoiled. Note: Mag wheel nuts - check thread and length - nuts not bottom out on
adapter before wheel is tight. Any nuts used must have minimum of 9/16” effective thread length (on open end lug
nuts, end of lug bolt should be flush or protrude).
5. Check wheel and tire clearance for full steering (lock-to-lock), as well as tire-fender clearance when vehicle is loaded.
Balance wheels.
6. Check and retorque every 2000 miles for normal driving conditions.
NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT TO MODIFY ADAPTER. Alteration or improper installation is dangerous and will void warranty.
NOTE: DO NOT USE IMPACT WRENCH.
NOTE: WARRANTY DOES NOT EXTEND TO ANY INSTALLATIONS OF WHEELS WITH MORE THAN 1” OFFSET (the
distance tire moved out and measured between wheel mounting face and rim center line). Excessive offset results in unsafe
conditions, problems of fender clearance, wheel bearings wear, and excessive strain on the adapter.
WARNING: FOR NORMAL PASSENGER CAR USE ONLY. DO NOT USE ON TRUCK’S OR SUV’S. NOT FOR OFF-ROAD RACING
OR OTHER NON-STANDARD APPLICATIONS. DO NOT USE MORE THAN ONE ADAPTER PER WHEEL.
