Stair Tread Installaon Guide

Thank you for purchasing our stair treads. The installaon process is easy and straight forward. Remove treads from

packaging and allow pile yarn to open in full before placing onto desired area. Brushing the pile would speed up the

process in relaxing the yarn.

On most surfaces the treads will slide and we recommend the use of double sided carpet tape to keep them in place.

Another more permanent opon is available. Please see suggesons below:

1) Home Depot carries a number a number of double-sided carpet tape opons and if you are unable to locate

them in store, they are available online. Simply follow instrucons provided by the tape supplier and see

below for reference:

) A more permanent op on is to secure the treads with staples or tacks / nails. We recommend securing them ¼ of an inch inward from the serging into the pile, as this would avoid serging damage and yarn unravel. Keep in mind this solu on will leave holes in the ﬂoor under the treads. We and/or Home Depot are not responsible for damaged ﬂoors underneath the treads if using this method.
