11. To fit tiles around irregular shapes or corners (door jambs, pipes, stairs, etc) make a
pattern from cardboard or heavy paper. Trace the pattern onto the tile and cut** with a
utility knife.
** Note on Cutting Tiles Cut tiles using a utility knife with a sharp straight blade. Measure the necessary cut and
score the surface of the tile. Bend the tile along the score and complete the cut.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
Sweep or vacuum the tiles regularly
For spills, spot clean with a rag and hot soapy water
Tiles can be removed and reassembled if necessary, to clean primary flooring
Allow tiles to fully dry before use
Warranty:
TrafficMaster tiles come with a 7-year residential warranty against manufactures defects. TrafficMaster
tiles are designed for a residential indoor purpose and are to be installed by following procedures
outlined above. Nonresidential use or failure to follow proper installation instructions will automatically
void warranty. Since the tiles are intended for residential use and do it yourself installation the warranty
is just for parts, there is no labor or incidental claims allowable. Manufacturer reserves the right to
request samples of any flooring in a claim situation. Warranty does not extend to any damage to the
primary flooring or subflooring that the tiles have been installed upon.
Exclusion to warranty:
Tiles damaged by burns or cigarettes
Tiles installed with additional adhesives
Tiles installed over radiators or heating systems that reach temperatures and maintain
temperatures of over 85 degrees Fahrenheit
Tiles installed outdoors, including garages, porches and sun rooms
Tiles damaged or discolored by any paint or appearance altering substance.
Tiles damaged by pets or housing pets (Birdcages, Crates, etc)
If there is an issue with the tiles, please contact The Home Depot for further instructions or assistance.
Removal of the tiles prior to contacting the manufacture regarding the issue constitutes acceptance of
the issue and no claim will be awarded.
