disposal requirements and safe disposal options.

Non-Ionizing Radiation Hazard

Warning: Do not remove the activation sticker (tab) unit you have completed the Device’s installa-

tion process. Removing the activation sticker will cause the Device to emit non-ionizing radiation.

Warning: Make sure to mount the Device in a location more than 20 cm (7.5”) away from human

interaction.

General Hazards

Caution: Trackunit strongly recommends that you have the proper certiﬁcations and training in in-

stalling GPS, Cellular, and electrical equipment, according to your local guidelines. If you do not

possess the required knowledge, contact a certiﬁed Technician.

Caution: Please review and adhere to your company’s ergonomic policies and procedures while

installing the Device.

Warning: Make sure you wear all required safety equipment during installation.

Warning: Do not cut, crimp, or pinch internal wiring when replacing the device’s Lithium-Ion bat-

tery.

Risk of Ingress of Water

Caution: Mount the Spot2 on a level surface using the mounting hardware (included) to maintain

the IP rating.

Caution: Do not clean the Spot2 with water while the equipment is hot. Wait until the Device has

cooled down and is at the same temperature as the water used to clean the Device.
