11.4.3.1 SNMPv1,2c Noti๎‚ฟcation Recipient
The SNMP v1, v2c Recipient table contains the following ๎‚ฟelds:
Recipients IP โ€” Displays the IP address to which the traps are sent.
Noti๎‚ฟcation Type โ€” Displays the type of noti๎‚ฟcation sent. The possible ๎‚ฟeld values are:
โ€“ Trap โ€” Indicates traps are sent.
โ€“ Inform โ€” Indicates informs are sent.
Community String โ€” Displays the community string of the trap manager.
Noti๎‚ฟcation Version โ€” Displays the trap type. The possible ๎‚ฟeld values are:
โ€“ SNMP V1 โ€” Indicates that SNMP Version 1 traps are sent.
โ€“ SNMP V2c โ€” Indicates that SNMP Version 2 traps are sent.
UDP Port โ€” Displays the UDP port used to send noti๎‚ฟcations. The ๎‚ฟeld range is 1-65535. The default is 162.
Filter Name โ€” Indicates if the SNMP ๎‚ฟlter for which the SNMP Noti๎‚ฟcation ๎‚ฟlter is de๎‚ฟned.
Timeout โ€” Indicates the amount of time (in seconds) the device waits before resending informs. The ๎‚ฟeld range is 1-300.
The default is 15 seconds.
Retries โ€” Indicates the number of times the device resends an inform request. The ๎‚ฟeld range is 1-255. The default is 3.
Remove โ€” Deletes the currently selected recipient. The possible ๎‚ฟeld values are:
โ€“ Checked โ€” Removes the selected recipient from the list of recipients.
โ€“ Unchecked โ€” Maintains the list of recipients.
11.4.3.2 SNMPv3 Noti๎‚ฟcation Recipient
The SNMPv3 Noti๎‚ฟcation Recipient table contains the following ๎‚ฟelds:
Recipient IP โ€” Displays the IP address to which the traps are sent.
Noti๎‚ฟcation Type โ€” Displays the type of noti๎‚ฟcation sent. The possible ๎‚ฟeld values are:
โ€“ Trap โ€” Indicates that traps are sent.
โ€“ Inform โ€” Indicates that informs are sent.
User Name โ€” Displays the user to which SNMP noti๎‚ฟcations are sent.
Security Level โ€” Displays the means by which the packet is authenticated. The possible ๎‚ฟeld values are:
โ€“ No Authentication โ€” Indicates that the packet is neither authenticated nor encrypted.
โ€“ Authentication โ€” Indicates that the packet is authenticated.
UDP Port โ€” Displays the UDP port used to send noti๎‚ฟcations. The ๎‚ฟeld range is 1-65535. The default is 162.
