• Remove two screws of valve cover at the right side of the outdoor unit.
Then pull it this side with hook in the back side.
Insert hook (three parts) of the valve cover to outdoor unit and fix two screws on the body.
14 Drainage
Be sure to install the drain hose so as to be downward slope.
After finishing the drain piping, check the drainage by pouring some water in the drain pan.
In case that the un-insulated drain hose is through in a room, apply heat insulation to it.
Do not drain as illustrated below
Is heat insulation applied to throughout the
pipes?
Is the earth line securely connected?
Is the indoor unit securely fixed?
Is the voltage correct?
Is the connecting wirings of indoor and outdoor
firmly inserted to the terminal block?

Please explain to the customers how to operate the unit through the instruction manual.
Isn’t there any noise?
Is the control of temperature set normally?
Is the drainage securely carried out?
Isn’t there any gas leakage from the pipe
connecting?
Is the combination of the connecting wirings
and pipes correct?
* Only for Dual and Triple models.

CAUTION

Removing & Attachment of the valve cover (9K, 12k
Cooling & Heating models)
• In case of using the drain elbow and gum bushings, attach
them as illustrated.
• Do not attach the drain elbow and gum bushings in cold
districts where the air temperature falls below zero conti-
nuously.
Frozen drain may cause to stop the fan motor.
* Gum bushings are only for 9k, 12k Inverter models and
21k Dual Inverter model.
