User manual

The Mini alarm module can learn the quiet state of the input lines by
pressing the 'Reset' button for about 5 seconds until the red and yellow
LED both light up. The module reads the status of the lines (open, closed
or connected with resistor) and takes this condition as reference for quiet
state.
Display of momentaneous input conditions
As long as the Mini alarm module is in 'unset' state (red LED off) the
yellow LED indicates the momentaneous condition of both inputs and
shows if they are 'quiet' or 'triggered'.
Input condition yellow LED activity
input 1 triggered, input 2 quiet single blink pulses
input 1 quiet, input 2 triggered double blink pulses
bot inputs triggered yellow LED lit
Set to 'set' and 'unset' state
With short pressing (about 0.5 sec.) of the 'Reset' key the Mini alarm
module will go to 'set' state. The 'set' condition is shown by blinking signal
of the red LED. By pressing the reset button again for short duration, the
module goes to 'unset' state again.
System condition red LED activity
entry or exit delay running double blink pulses
module in 'set' state single blink pulses
alarm is / was triggered red LED lit
Using the exit / entry delay
After going to 'set' state, the module will stay in 'exit delay' status for the
defined duration. During this time any trigger signal on input 1 is ignored.
The use of this function is to allow the user to leave the supervised area
thru a door controlled with a sensor connected to input 1.
If the 'exit delay' period is over and the system in 'set' condition, a trigger
signal on input 1 will start the 'entry delay' phase. For the preset time the
activation of the output relay is supressed giving the owner the chance to
switch the system to 'unset' state after entering thru a door with sensor
connected to input 1.
While the system is in 'set' status, an trigger signal on line 2 always will
immediately the Alarm output to be activated instantly.
Assembly and mounting instructions

Picture with optional modular case order code 19 12 92
For use of this module with the modular casing a special knob to fit on the
switch plunger is included with this product.
The modular casing grants the touch safe enclosure which is required if
the module is to be used with mains current.
The modular casing comes with mounting clips to attach the case on
standardized DIN-mounting rails with 30 mm width.
The input terminals for the signaling lines must not be connected
with any other voltage source!
